Easy to install
Fiat 500 key covers are an easy way to refresh your car keys. You can pick from a variety of colors and styles to find one that is most appropriate to your personal preferences. The greatest thing is that they're easy to install, so you can do it yourself in just 10 minutes. You will require a screwdriver, as well as some patience. The first step is to take off the cover. The original cover must be removed before the new one can be installed.

Once you've completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is functioning properly your car will turn on the parking lights and your doors will lock automatically.

The key fob contains an embedded microchip that communicates with the Body Control Module. When you insert your Fiat key, it presses the button on the ignition switch. This is used to remind you of the "key-inignition". The BCM will then be in a position to read the transponder in the key fob to verify that it's a valid.
